Role Overview:
The Assistant Manager for VAT Tax will play a crucial role in ensuring adherence to indirect tax reporting obligations across various jurisdictions for the entities within Markerstudy Group.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and file VAT tax returns for all entities within the Group
  • Assist in the development of VAT group structure recommendations
  • Coordinate with auditors during tax statutory audits
  • Ensure compliance with Making Tax Digital regulations
  • Work alongside the Head of Tax Advisory on emerging tax matters
  • Oversee the Senior Accounting Officer review process
  • Engage in various project work as needed
  • Foster tax governance across the organization

Qualifications:

  • Experience in tax reporting within a sizable organization or audit firm
  • In-depth knowledge of UK Corporation Tax and VAT regulations
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities
