About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Project Manager to join our rapidly expanding Healthcare Division. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for overseeing the successful delivery of a new service implementation project, ensuring it is completed on time, within budget, and meets all specifications.

Key Responsibilities
  • Plan and implement project deliverables, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and according to the service specification.
  • Collaborate with operational, governance, clinical, HR, support services, and finance teams to ensure seamless delivery of project tasks and milestones.
  • Manage the TUPE process (both in and out) in partnership with HR, including due diligence, consultation, and data transfer.
  • Attend and/or chair meetings at relevant Programme Board, Mobilisation Meetings, and Stakeholder Groups.
  • Work closely with senior colleagues to analyze requirements for agile working within PHL's 3-year strategy.

Partnering Health Ltd (PHL) was founded in 2009 by a team of commercial partners and experienced General Practitioners with a clear vision of providing services that would contribute to and benefit the local healthcare economy. PHL runs Integrated Urgent Care, which evolved from the former Out of Hours model, for localities in Hampshire and the Isle of Wight. Our services include call handling, telephone clinical assessment, out of hours home visiting services, and face-to-face Primary Care appointments services in Hampshire.

Requirements
  • Master's degree in a relevant field or equivalent combination of postgraduate qualification, courses, and experience.
  • Project management qualification - PRINCE2 Practitioner.
  • Extensive project management experience leading complex and/or multiple projects using various project management methods in the NHS or equivalent healthcare or other organisation with relevant parallels.
  • Substantial experience of documenting requirements to support investment.
  • Experience of managing complex projects/programmes involving matrix management.
  • Experience working in an NHS Provider or independent sector healthcare organisation.
  • Experience of working with multiple stakeholders external and internal.
  • Experience/knowledge working with key stakeholders and external suppliers of support services.
  • Excellent written English with a proven ability to write effective, concise, and compelling content, while working to deadlines.
  • Good leadership skills with the ability to influence and negotiate.
  • Good organisational and IT skills essential.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills written, verbal.
  • Proven ability to design and implement business processes and governance structures.
  • Clear understanding of professional responsibility and accountability.
  • Good organisational skills and ability to manage and prioritise own workload.
  • Experience in delivery of health and social care services is desirable.
  • Strong negotiation and influencing skills.
  • Able to think strategically and analytically.
  • Able to work as part of a team or under own initiative.
  • Good attention to detail.
  • Ability to work to tight deadlines with flexible working arrangements and ability to respond to unscheduled tasks.
