Your Key Responsibilities:

As the Mechanical Operations Manager, you will oversee the Pulp & Power sector, ensuring that all activities align with budgetary constraints, company policies, and the overall objectives of the organization.

  • Ensure Health & Safety compliance within your area of responsibility.
  • Develop and enhance existing systems and procedures to foster a proactive maintenance culture.
  • Facilitate engineering workflows to optimize efficiency.
  • Plan and schedule work tasks for maintenance shutdowns.
  • Make informed decisions regarding task carryovers.
  • Lead planning and scheduling meetings to assess work progress, resource availability, and equipment readiness.
  • Manage Time and Attendance for your team.
  • Oversee training and development initiatives.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Preferred education to HNC level (or equivalent) in a technical field.
  • Completion of a recognized Engineering Apprenticeship.
  • Extensive knowledge and experience in maintenance engineering.
  • Understanding of failure analysis and maintenance strategies.
  • Familiarity with plant processes and equipment.
  • Proficient in computer applications, particularly the 'Windows Office' suite.
  • Knowledge of plant management systems is advantageous.
  • Self-motivated with a strong work ethic.
