SHE Manager

E3 Recruitment is seeking an experienced Senior SHE Manager to join a leading Chemical Manufacturer in the UK. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards in Safety, Health, Environmental, Industrial Quality, and Regulatory Compliance across the organization.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the development and implementation of SHEQ&S policies and standards.
- Provide expert advice and leadership on Safety, Security, Health, and Environmental matters.
- Manage external regulatory interactions, including HSE, EA, and BSI.
- Oversee regulatory licenses and permits, such as COMAH and EPR.
- Support process safety management and behavioral safety improvements.
- Develop and manage technical training and competence management systems.
Requirements:
- Degree in a chemical or scientific discipline.
- NEBOSH diploma or equivalent professional safety and health qualification.
- At least 10 years of experience in a production or operations environment, including 3 years in a regulatory position for an upper-tier COMAH site.
- Proven experience managing SHEQ&S professionals and implementing management systems (ISO 9001/14001/45001).
