Job Title: Control Panel Workshop Manager

Earthstream is seeking a skilled Control Panel Workshop Manager to join our team. As a leading automation business specializing in control systems design for industrial machinery, we offer a unique opportunity to work on diverse projects and industries.

Job Role:

As a Control Panel Workshop Manager, your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Installing control panels, mains, 24V dc, and communication cables, cable containment, wiring motors, sensors, and remote Input/Output nodes.
  • Terminating field cables in a control panel.
  • Occasionally working weekends and staying overnight away from home as required.
  • Wiring electrical control panels and equipment in our workshops.
  • Incorporating PLC, CNC, or PC-based controllers, AC servo drives, and inverter motor controllers in control panel wiring.
  • Building control panels according to CAD drawings provided by electrical designers.
Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Experience in a similar role.
  • Strong knowledge of electrical systems and components.
  • Familiarity with electrical safety practices and regulations.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and keen attention to detail.
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Demonstrated good health and safety culture.
  • Willingness to work on-site at customer premises and be available for overnight stays as required.
  • Flexibility to work weekends and overtime when necessary.
  • Proficiency in reading electrical drawings.
