Job Title: Active Directory Architect

VIQU Limited is seeking a highly skilled Senior Active Directory Architect to lead the transformation and modernisation of their Active Directory (AD) environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop high-level and detailed designs to enhance the Active Directory OU structure, focusing on cloud modernisation, business segmentation, and defining business-centric processes for asset management.
  • Define and manage migration paths to implement new AD designs, ensuring minimal disruption to existing services.
  • Review privileged access paths and AD delegation to ensure secure control over lateral movement and privilege elevation within the environment.
  • Assess existing Group Policy deployments, delivering updates to simplify, harden, and optimise controls according to best practices and emerging vulnerabilities.
  • Lead efforts to improve the health and hygiene of Active Directory domains, addressing critical platform obsolescence through DFL/FFL upgrades.
  • Serve as the go-to expert for all aspects of Active Directory, including both on-premises AD and Entra ID, guiding the design, implementation, and maintenance of the infrastructure.
  • Produce detailed documentation of the existing AD environment, including forest structure, trust relationships, sites, services, configurations, and procedures.

The ideal candidate will have strong subject matter expertise in Active Directory and be able to work independently, with minimal supervision. The role will require ad hoc travel to London for meetings and workshops with the team.

To be successful in this role, you will need to have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in a remote environment.
