About the Role:
This is an exciting opportunity to join Heat Recruitment as a Commercial Account Handler/Underwriter in our Harrogate office. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for building and maintaining relationships with clients, providing expert advice on commercial insurance products, and identifying new business opportunities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients to understand their insurance needs and provide tailored solutions.
- Provide expert advice on commercial insurance products, including risk assessment and policy recommendations.
- Identify new business opportunities and develop strategies to grow existing client relationships.
- Work closely with the sales team to ensure seamless delivery of insurance products and services.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in commercial insurance, preferably in a broker or underwriter role.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and colleagues.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to assess complex insurance risks.
- Acturis experience is ideal, but not essential - training will be provided.
