Position Overview

Summer-Browning Associates is seeking a Senior Sourcing Manager to join our team in the defence industry.

Location: Flexible working arrangements

Role Responsibilities: In this pivotal role, you will oversee and implement strategic sourcing initiatives aligned with the established category strategy and preferred supplier list. Your responsibilities will encompass the execution of the RFx process, supplier assessment and selection, contract negotiations, award of business, and the seamless transition of contracts to operational teams.

Key Qualifications: The successful candidate will possess Active SC clearance and demonstrate a robust background in Senior Procurement Management, including the following competencies:

  • Comprehensive understanding of Public Sector Procurement Regulations (PCR 2015) and practical experience in applying these to contracts (NEC 3/4) and high-value procurements.
  • Proficiency in utilizing CCS procurement frameworks.
  • Experience in sourcing across diverse categories.
