Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Cath Lab Specialist Radiographer to join our team at Nuffield Health St Bartholomew's Hospital. As a key member of our diagnostic imaging department, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality diagnostic imaging services for a varied caseload within the cardiac cath lab, as well as CT or MRI.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality diagnostic imaging services for a varied caseload within the cardiac cath lab, as well as CT or MRI.
- Be highly proficient in the use of all equipment within scope of practice.
- Work with leading practitioners and cutting-edge practices, equipment, and facilities.
- Take an active part in supervising and developing junior colleagues.
- Work within IRMER and own scope of practice, in accordance with the code of conduct set out by the HCPC.
- Participate in departmental audits and Quality Assurance programme.
- Provide support to the Clinical Lead Radiographers.
- Ensure equipment is safe and fit for purpose and report faults in line with Nuffield Health policy.
- Competency in IV cannulation is essential.
- Provide input to the review, update, and implementation of departmental policy and procedural changes.
- Comply with all Nuffield Health policies and procedures.
- Ensure all records are maintained in line with statutory and organisational requirements.
- Participate in Cath lab, X-ray, and CT on-call rota (within scope of practice).

Our Hospital:
Nuffield Health Barts Hospital is our flagship center for cardiac services, situated next to St Bartholomew's NHS hospital. Our hospital consists of 55 beds, including 7 Specialist intensive care beds, four of the most advanced digital operating theatres, and Endoscopy and minor ops theatre. With 28 consultation rooms, Cardiac catheterisation lab, Oncology Day unit, and full diagnostic imaging suite including MRI, CT, ultrasound, mammography, and general X-ray.
