Position Title:
Lead Engineer for Production and Support Services

Essential Competencies:
Systems Engineering, In-Service Support, Production Management, Electronics, Mechanical Engineering

In your role as a Lead Engineer for Production and Support Services, you will be instrumental in ensuring the effective operation and upkeep of in-service products.

Your diverse skill set will encompass various engineering disciplines, including Systems Engineering, In-Service Support, Production Management, Electronics, and Mechanical Engineering.



Support for Manufacturing Processes:
Deliver extensive assistance for the production workflow.
Supervise and coordinate engineering support functions within the manufacturing setting.

Addressing Production Challenges:
Identify and resolve mechanical and electrical challenges within the production and supply chain.

Acceptance Testing:
Direct the acceptance testing processes through thorough range evaluations.

Failure Analysis:
Assess production and range failures to determine root causes and implement corrective measures.

Maintenance of Product Design:
Act as the engineering authority for the upkeep of in-service products, including managing obsolescence and maintaining documentation.

Client Interaction:

Serve as the primary engineering contact for clients, presenting design modifications, overseeing Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) aspects such as inventory management, and offering technical assistance for product usage and related systems.

Ad-hoc Responsibilities:

What are we looking for in our next Lead Engineer for Production and Support Services?
We seek a candidate with a solid background in engineering management and team leadership.

The ideal applicant will have a comprehensive understanding of complex engineering within regulated sectors and substantial experience leading product development throughout its lifecycle.


Foundation in Systems Engineering:
Strong foundation in Systems Engineering with a solid understanding of Software Engineering principles. A background in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering is highly advantageous.

Engineering Project Management:
Proven ability to develop and manage engineering project timelines with clear interdependencies.

Cost Estimation:
Proficient in generating and reviewing engineering cost estimates, with the capability to challenge and substantiate them effectively.

Risk Assessment:
Skilled in managing risks, assumptions, issues, decisions, and opportunities within an engineering framework.

Work Package Oversight:
Experience in overseeing Work Packages is preferred.
