We are seeking a skilled Agricultural Equipment Technician to join our team at the Scot JCB Group. As a Service Engineer with our company, you will be responsible for visiting customer sites to perform maintenance, repairs, and services on agricultural machinery to a high standard.

Key Responsibilities
  • Repair and maintain agricultural equipment on customer sites, ensuring conformance with manufacturer specifications.
  • Accurately complete all relevant paperwork daily.
  • Order parts and work closely with the parts department to ensure efficient service delivery.
  • Collaborate with the service supervisor to prioritize tasks and ensure seamless service operations.
  • Perform inspections and repairs of equipment at our depot, adhering to manufacturer specifications and regulatory requirements.
  • Identify and report any defective or unsafe equipment to the appropriate manager.
Requirements
  • Relevant experience and qualifications, such as City and Guild, NVQ, or SVQ certifications.
  • Experience in agricultural plant, diesel engines, electrics, hydraulics, transmissions, and fault finding using electronic diagnostic equipment.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent customer service skills and ability to build strong relationships with customers.
  • Good IT skills and adaptability to new technologies.
  • A flexible and positive attitude, with a proactive approach to work.
