Responsibilities:

  • Operate a heavy-duty 8-ton excavator to perform excavation, demolition, and construction tasks.
  • Conduct routine maintenance and safety checks on the equipment to ensure optimal performance and prevent accidents.
  • Follow project plans and supervisor instructions to ensure timely completion of tasks and meet customer expectations.

Requirements:

  • Ability to lift and move heavy equipment and materials.
  • Medical fitness to work assessment to ensure physical ability to perform job duties.
  • Anglian Water Work Passport to demonstrate compliance with industry regulations.
  • Experience operating 8-ton excavators and knowledge of their maintenance and operation.
  • Valid operator's license and certifications to operate heavy equipment.
  • Knowledge of safety protocols and procedures to prevent accidents and ensure a safe work environment.
