The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of working in a cleaning or maintenance role, with experience in handling heavy equipment and machinery. They will also possess a strong understanding of cleaning chemicals and supplies, as well as familiarity with Material Safety Data Sheets.
Responsibilities:
- Cleaning and Maintenance: Clean, stock, and supply designated facility areas, including dusting, sweeping, vacuuming, mopping, cleaning ceiling vents, and restroom cleaning.
- Inspections and Maintenance: Perform routine inspections and maintenance activities, documenting any deficiencies or needs for repairs.
- Heavy Cleansing and Projects: Carry out heavy cleansing tasks and special projects as required.
- Communication: Notify management of any occurring deficiencies or needs for repairs.
- Repairs and Maintenance: Make adjustments and minor repairs as necessary.
- Supply Management: Stock and maintain supply rooms.
- Teamwork: Cooperate with the rest of the staff to ensure a smooth and efficient working environment.
- Health and Safety: Follow all health and safety regulations and guidelines.
Requirements:
- Experience: Proven working experience as a cleaner or in a related maintenance role.
- Skills: Ability to handle heavy equipment and machinery, knowledge of cleaning chemicals and supplies, familiarity with Material Safety Data Sheets, and integrity.
- Education: High school degree or equivalent.
