The company, a leading manufacturer in the automotive sector, is seeking a skilled Procurement Specialist to join their team. As a key member of the procurement team, you will be responsible for sourcing and procuring high-quality components and materials from suppliers in the UK and internationally.
Key Responsibilities
- Source and procure components and materials from suppliers in the UK and internationally
- Negotiate with suppliers to secure the best possible prices and terms
- Oversee the end-to-end procurement process, ensuring timely delivery and quality of goods
- Identify opportunities for cost savings and implement process improvements
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless supply chain operations
Requirements
- Proven experience in procurement or a related field, preferably in the automotive or manufacturing sector
- Strong negotiation and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Highly organized and detail-oriented
- Proficient in MS Office and procurement software
