Cardiac Rhythm Analysis Specialist - Evening Shift

The Clinical Wireless Monitoring Specialist is responsible for receiving, interpreting, and managing ECG transmissions/events utilizing the Independent Diagnostic Testing Facility (IDTF) software systems. This role involves providing technical insights into ECG data, thereby supporting the IDTF in the effective processing of events.

This position addresses and resolves complex heart rhythm issues and manages escalations from lower-level technicians during the review process.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain current knowledge in clinical practices, particularly in ECG rhythm interpretation and analysis.
  • Assess ECG recordings and associated algorithm results for clinical precision and thoroughness, ensuring compliance with notification criteria.
  • Handle escalations from Monitoring Technician Level I regarding ECG irregularities, adhering to physician notification protocols.
  • Escalate ECG irregularities in accordance with established MSA and physician notification guidelines.
  • Ensure the quality assurance of analyzed and processed work.
  • Achieve performance productivity benchmarks for the role.
  • Adhere to all organizational and departmental policies and procedures.

Ideal Candidate Profile:

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in monitoring as a Monitoring Technician.
  • Experience in monitoring and analyzing data from wireless cardiac devices, with a focus on identifying abnormal heart rhythms and critical cardiac events is advantageous.
  • Possession of an active CRAT/CCT certification or qualifications as an RN or Paramedic/EMT.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, with strong technical skills and the ability to operate in various technical environments simultaneously, alongside robust ECG rhythm interpretation capabilities.
  • High School Diploma or General Educational Development (GED) is required.
  • Willingness to work evening shifts (1pm-11:30pm) as well as weekends and holidays on a rotational basis. This is a hybrid position requiring both in-office and remote work (4-10 hour workdays, with 2 days in the office and 2 days from home).
  • Ability to meet the minimum physical, cognitive, and environmental job requirements with or without accommodation. Strong communication skills (both verbal and written), attention to detail, teamwork orientation, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment are essential.

Compensation and Benefits

The hourly pay range for this position is $20.00 to $38.00, with eligibility for overtime. Actual base pay may vary based on factors such as job-related knowledge, skills, experience, business needs, geographical location, and internal equity.

Additional compensation may include an annual incentive bonus, sales commission, or long-term incentives.
