About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced leader to join our team as a Shift Manager at Butlins. As a key member of our operations team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of our restaurants and quick service restaurants across the resort.

Key Responsibilities

  • Reporting to the Venue Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring daily operational plans are fulfilled by leading and motivating your team to deliver exceptional service and high-quality food and beverage offerings.
  • You will work closely with the team to ensure that all tasks and objectives are being carried out efficiently and effectively, and that the team is in the right place at the right time to manage fluctuating guest demand.
  • As a Shift Manager, you will be responsible for driving key targets such as add-on sales and promotions, while maintaining high operational standards and guest experience.
  • You will support and coach the team to deliver a great experience for our guests, and ensure that all non-guest facing tasks and activities are allocated and completed within your working week.
  • This is an operational guest-facing role, and you will be required to work a 5-day week over 7 days, with flexibility being essential.

About You

We are looking for an experienced leader from within an F&B environment who can support the team to deliver fantastic service. You will have a proven track record of leading and motivating teams in a fast-paced environment, with a focus on delivering exceptional customer service and high-quality food and beverage offerings.

You will be a confident and effective communicator, with the ability to lead, motivate and engage your team, even in periods of high demand. You will also be able to manage multiple priorities and adapt quickly to changing requirements.

Requirements

  • Previous experience in leading within a busy restaurant, bar or retail environment, with a focus on delivering a balance of speed and quality.
  • Strong leadership skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate your team to deliver amazing results.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with colleagues and stakeholders at all levels.
  • Able to work flexibly, including evenings, weekends and bank holidays.
