What is the role of our Finance team?

Our team oversees all financial operations, including customer invoicing, payment receipt, supplier invoice processing, and payment allocation. This encompasses businesses in the UK, Ireland, and internationally.

The department is responsible for preparing statutory accounts for UK entities and other jurisdictions as necessary, along with a UK consolidation for Randox Holdings Ltd.

Location: Randox Laboratories, 55 Diamond Road, Crumlin, BT29 4QY.

Contract Offered: Full-time, Permanent

Working Hours / Shifts: 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday from 08.40 to 17.20.

What are the responsibilities of the Finance Administrator?


In this position, you will be tasked with processing purchase invoices, managing credit control, and accurately entering data into the accounting system.

This role is diverse and will require you to cultivate a broad skill set, including:

  • Processing purchase invoices, ensuring alignment with purchase orders, obtaining necessary approvals, and executing payments to suppliers.
  • Managing credit control for outstanding sales invoices.
  • Recording bank transactions and receipts in the accounting system, ensuring they correspond with the correct invoice.
  • Assisting in the preparation of monthly financial statements.
  • Preparing journals for posting to SAP and conducting monthly reviews of the general ledgers.
Comprehensive on-the-job training will be provided regarding our procedures.

Who is eligible to apply?

Essential criteria:

  • 4 GCSEs or equivalent, grade A* - C, including English and Maths.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, Word, and Outlook.

Desirable:

  • Previous experience in a financial setting.
  • Prior administrative experience.
  • Familiarity with SAP or Sage 500.
