Engineering Technician

At IO Associates, we are seeking a skilled Engineering Technician to join our team in Plymouth. As a Shift Engineering Technician, you will play a vital role in supporting our Process group in addressing technical challenges within our production areas.
This position offers the opportunity to apply your technical expertise, creativity, and problem-solving skills to improve processes, mentor Production Technicians, and champion continuous improvement initiatives.
Main Responsibilities:- Provide technical expertise and support to Production Technicians in resolving complex machine-related faults.
- Mentor Production Technicians, fostering their development in fault diagnosis and technology utilisation.
- Utilise technology, including PCs, HMI screens, and MES, for effective fault diagnosis and equipment management.
Requirements:
- At least a Level 3 qualification in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, or equivalent experience.
- Proven experience in a similar high-volume assembly and manufacturing role.
