About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Design Manager to join our team at Fawkes and Reece. As a Design Manager, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the project from inception to completion.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage the design process, ensuring alignment with client requirements and project objectives
  • Collaborate with internal and external teams to develop design solutions
  • Oversee the preparation and submission of design documentation, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and standards
  • Monitor project timelines and budgets, proactively identifying potential risks and implementing effective mitigation strategies
  • Facilitate design reviews and workshops, fostering a collaborative working environment
Requirements
  • Proven experience as a Design Manager within the construction industry, preferably with a Tier 1 Contractor
  • Strong understanding of construction processes, design principles, and relevant regulations
  • Excellent leadership skills
  • Proficiency in design software and tools, e.g. AutoCAD, Revit
  • A degree in architecture or engineering would be advantageous
