Exciting opportunity for a Class 1 night transport operator.
We are seeking a dedicated Class 1 HGV 1 driver to become part of our team, focusing on night trunk operations.
As a Class 1 driver, you will be responsible for executing trunk runs, typically commencing between 3pm and 7pm, with shifts lasting up to 10 hours, from Monday to Friday. There are ample opportunities for additional hours on Saturdays.
Your responsibilities will include conducting vehicle inspections, ensuring the load is secure, and completing necessary documentation. Importantly, there will be no manual handling or heavy lifting required, as the warehouse team will manage loading and unloading.
This position offers a fantastic chance for ongoing Class 1 driving work with a reputable company.
Requirements
- Proven experience in Class 1 / HGV1 driving.
- Valid UK driving licence with category C+E.
- Current Tacho and CPC qualifications.
- Safety boots and high visibility clothing.
- Awareness of health and safety protocols.
