About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Assistant Store Manager Designate to join our team at Superdrug. As a key member of our store management team, you will be responsible for leading and developing a high-performing team to deliver exceptional customer service and drive sales growth.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and motivate a team of retail professionals to achieve sales and service targets
  • Work closely with the Store Manager to identify and implement opportunities to grow sales, improve stock range and availability, and maintain strict cost and stock control
  • Develop and implement effective coaching and training programs to enhance team performance and customer service
  • Monitor and analyze sales data to inform business decisions and drive growth
  • Collaborate with other store managers to share best practices and drive business results
Requirements
  • Proven experience in a retail management role, with a strong track record of delivering sales growth and improving customer service
  • Excellent leadership and coaching skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a high-performing team
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret sales data and drive business decisions
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with colleagues and customers
  • Ability to work flexibly, including evenings and weekends, as required
