Marine Broker Support Technician

An esteemed international Lloyds broker is seeking a seasoned Marine Broker Support Technician to join their team.

As a key member of the Marine broking team, you will provide critical support to clients and markets, ensuring seamless placement and servicing of international marine business.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Collaborating with clients and brokers to create MRC slips and endorsements.
  • Ensuring compliance with local taxes and territorial requirements.
  • Liaising with the operations team for accurate processing.
  • Coordinating with the IBA team to manage premium issues.
  • Reviewing and verifying market and client documentation.
  • Overseeing broking to overseas markets.
  • Providing support to clients throughout the placement process.
  • Maintaining and developing client relationships.
  • Managing the renewal process.

Requirements:

  • Experience in a technical support role within the Lloyds/London market.
  • Familiarity with Marine Liabilities, Ports, and Terminals is desirable.
  • Proficiency in using Brokasure, PPL, whitespace, Crystal, Atlas, or Impact would be an asset.
