We are looking for a seasoned professional with extensive experience in estates and facilities management at senior level. You will have a strong understanding of governance, compliance, and regulatory requirements, as well as a passion for making a difference in mental health services.
Main DutiesThe Head of Estates and Facilities will lead the delivery of estates and facilities management services to ensure an effective, efficient, and value-for-money estates and facilities service. You will contribute to the efficient and effective provision of healthcare services and ensure best use of resources through management of in-house and third-party teams.
You will be responsible for the development and progression of the estates delivery team within the Trust and liaise effectively with colleagues across the organization. You will also lead on the estates regulatory audits and key objectives such as PAM, ERIC, CIPs, STPs, Sustainable and Environmental initiatives.
Requirements- Substantial previous experience in NHS engineering/building operations.
- Broad range of previous engineering/building experience in building services environment in a large county-wide estate.
- Previous experience of Risk Management, from surveys, assessments, and action plans through to implementation of control measures.
- Experience of Annual Maintenance Plan(s) and delivery of Capital Programme in accordance with the Trust's business planning cycle.
- Knowledge of financial management within an Estates environment.
