Position Overview

Operating across 12 countries (Europe, Middle East, Asia), we are engaged in the generation and distribution of low-carbon electricity, emphasizing the advancement of nuclear and renewable energy sources. Additionally, we are involved in the modernization and enhancement of energy infrastructures, overseeing the establishment and location of new transmission and distribution networks, and utilizing hydrogen to reduce carbon emissions in the transportation and industrial sectors.

Role Responsibilities

As an IT Support Trainee, you will be integral to the IT department, gaining valuable technical and interpersonal skills. Reporting directly to the IT Operations Manager, your key responsibilities will encompass:

  • Providing assistance with hardware and software challenges, diagnosing and resolving technical issues, and offering support to team members.
  • Addressing logged IT incidents, which includes troubleshooting software and aiding with various software applications.
  • Assisting in the organization of the deployment and return of IT equipment for users across various locations.
  • Engaging in continuous learning about emerging technologies and remaining informed about industry developments.

Required Qualifications

  • A minimum of five GCSEs (grades A*-C/9-4), including English and Mathematics, or equivalent skills through Functional Skills qualifications.
  • Solid understanding of widely-used operating systems.
  • Proficient troubleshooting abilities.
  • A collaborative mindset and ability to work effectively within a team.
