Geotechnical Client Liaison

We are pleased to present an exceptional opportunity to join a consultancy as the primary link between clients and the engineering team. Utilize your technical expertise to devise effective solutions.

Location: South East – Flexible home-based role with travel to client locations.

Salary: £45,000 - £50,000 base salary + Car or Allowance + Bonus + Benefits

Role Overview:

The Resolute Group Ltd is collaborating with a consultancy that excels in Geotechnical Engineering, expanding its services across the Infrastructure sector, including clients in Rail, Water, Highways, Power, and Aviation, with a diverse project portfolio throughout the UK.

In response to increasing demand, a new position has been established to enhance service availability in the South East region. You will engage with key clients, ensuring effective communication and problem-solving between the client and the design team, while facilitating the development of tailored solutions.

This position requires a unique blend of interpersonal and technical skills. You will thrive in addressing technical challenges with clients, discussing their concerns, and collaborating with your Engineering team to formulate viable solutions. Your role will primarily involve direct client interaction, supported by seasoned technical experts in advanced ground improvement techniques.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with the Engineering team to devise and design solutions that address client challenges.
  • Analyze site investigation data to contribute to the creation of comprehensive treatment designs.
  • Manage client relationships, ensuring their needs are met while promoting additional business opportunities.
  • Maintain accurate records and data within company systems.
  • Foster and sustain long-term relationships with clients, stakeholders, and business leaders.
  • Support operational delivery by closely working with the Operations Director and Contracts Managers to uphold strong client relationships throughout project execution.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • A minimum of a Degree in Civil Engineering or Geotechnical Engineering.
  • Experience in site-based roles demonstrating stakeholder engagement and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Possession of a valid driving license.
