About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Marine Structural Engineer to join our team at Babcock International Group. As a Senior Marine Structural Engineer, you will play a key role in developing designs through concept and early-stage design, as well as supporting the bidding process.

Key Responsibilities

  • Authoring, reviewing, and substantiating marine designs through calculations, simulations, commissioning, and diagnostic test support.
  • Contributing and leading product development throughout the design lifecycle.
  • Providing technical support to key customers, ensuring efficient and effective delivery of engineering outputs.
  • Acting as Technical Authority and having deep subject knowledge of an aspect of marine engineering.

Requirements

  • Proven structural design experience from a highly regulated industry.
  • Experience with appropriate analytical software such as FEA, CFD, and/or CAD.
  • Experience of contributing in design reviews.
