About the Role

The Financial Controller will play a key role in driving the financial performance of Marshall, a rapidly growing business. As a senior finance leader, you will be responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of the finance team, ensuring the finance function is fit for purpose.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the finance team, providing guidance and support to ensure the delivery of high-quality financial results.
  • Develop and implement a robust control framework to ensure the accuracy and reliability of financial reporting.
  • Work closely with the Commercial Manager to identify opportunities for process improvements and cost savings.
  • Lead the month-end process, ensuring timely and accurate reporting.
  • Develop and maintain effective relationships with stakeholders, including the Finance Director and Commercial Manager.
  • Identify and implement opportunities for continuous improvement and cost reduction across the company.

Requirements

  • Proven post-qualification experience in a senior finance role.
  • Previous experience of managing a team is essential.
  • Exceptional knowledge of systems and controls, with a strong technical accounting background.
  • Strong leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire the finance team.

Qualifications

  • ACA, ACCA, or CIMA qualification.
