Aberdeen Tax Accountant Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled Tax Accountant to join our team in Aberdeen, working on a hybrid basis with 3 days in the office and 2 days from home.

This is an initial 12-month contract, providing a unique opportunity to work with an Oil & Gas operator and contribute to the UK tax team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide UK tax advice to the business, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and legislation.
  • Support the wider UKBU tax team, providing transaction structuring and due diligence expertise.
  • Develop and maintain tax process and procedures documentation, staying up-to-date with legislative changes.
  • Collaborate with the team to deliver high-quality tax services, leveraging analytical skills and attention to detail.

Requirements:

  • Relevant corporate or accountancy firm experience, with a professional taxation or accounting qualification.
  • Upstream Corporation Tax and PRT experience, with strong analytical and numerical skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Knowledge of UK Upstream tax software, SAP, and Excel is desirable.
