Part-time considered:


The Role:

  • Preparation of statutory accounts for sole traders, partnerships, and limited companies
  • Drafting corporation tax computations
  • Preparation and review of Value-Added Tax (VAT) returns and bookkeeping
  • Preparation of management accounts
  • Client meetings
  • Client advisory work (e.g., tax planning) as you progress
  • Advising clients on accounting software
  • Dealing with client queries


You:

  • Member of the Association of Accounting Technicians (MAAT) or Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA) qualified
  • Practice experience is essential
  • Accounts preparation experience under Financial Reporting Standard 105 (FRS 105) and Financial Reporting Standard 102 (FRS 102)
  • Good working knowledge of Xero and QuickBooks (ideally)
  • Strong communication skills
