Assembly Operative Job Opportunity

Thorn Baker Industrial Recruitment is seeking a skilled Assembly Operative to join a successful manufacturing company in Ilkeston. This is a permanent position with immediate start availability.

About the Company:

Our client is a leading manufacturer with over 50 years of experience in the Ilkeston area. They specialize in plastic injection mouldings, metal pressings, insert mouldings, assemblies, and tool design and manufacture. Their products cater to the Automotive and Healthcare sectors globally.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Work on night shifts from Monday to Friday (22:00 - 06:00)
  • Pay rate: £12.55 per hour
  • Move and stack pallets and parcels
  • Sort and load stock
  • Assemble, pack, and label goods
  • Perform hand assembly and assemble small parts
  • Meet production targets
  • Conduct quality control
  • Perform manual welding

Requirements:

  • Reliability is essential
  • High attention to detail is crucial
  • Previous assembly experience is preferred
  • A willingness to learn with a positive attitude
