Exciting CNC Turner Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled CNC Turner to join our team at a well-established manufacturing company in Rochdale. As a CNC Turner, you will be responsible for setting, operating, and editing CNC turning machines to produce high-quality components.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Set up and operate CNC turning machines to produce precision components
  • Work with Mazatrol or Heidenhain programming languages to edit and modify existing programs
  • Maintain high safety and quality standards throughout the manufacturing process
  • Read and interpret technical drawings and job orders to determine machine setup requirements

  • Competitive hourly rate of £14.20, with opportunities to increase earnings through shift premiums
  • Guaranteed permanent role after a successful 3-month probationary period
  • Weekly pay initially, transitioning to monthly pay after 3 months

Requirements:
  • Experience setting, operating, and editing CNC turning machines
  • Familiarity with Mazatrol or Heidenhain programming languages
  • Metalworking experience (no plastics or wood)
Shift Patterns:

We offer flexible shift patterns to suit your needs, including weekly rotating shifts and permanent day/night shifts. Choose the shift that works best for you:

  • Weekly Rotating Shifts:
    • Early Shift: 6:00 AM - 2:00 PM (Mon-Thu), 6:00 AM - 11:30 AM (Fri)
    • Late Shift: 2:00 PM - 10:00 PM (Mon-Thu), 11:30 AM - 5:00 PM (Fri)
  • Permanent Day Shifts:
    • 7:30 AM - 4:00 PM (Mon-Thu), 7:30 AM - 12:30 PM (Fri)
  • Permanent Night Shift: 8:30 PM - 6:00 AM (Mon-Thu, Fridays off)
