Location: Chesterfield

We enhance asset efficiency, ensuring high availability and reducing maintenance costs.

Role Overview

Our Automation and Digitalisation teams deliver projects in various industries, including nuclear, food and beverage, chemicals, pharmaceuticals, energy, and utilities. We use a wide range of technologies, including Rockwell, Siemens, Schneider, AVEVA, and more. Our solutions include PLC, HMI, SCADA, MES, Batch, Functional Safety, OT Cyber Security, and Industry 4.0.

Key Responsibilities

The Technical Manager will:

  • Provide technical and quality leadership to a team of 25 engineers based in Chesterfield.
  • Work closely with the Head of Automation, Head of Projects, Project Managers, Technical Managers, and Engineering teams.
  • Be responsible for the successful delivery of technical aspects of projects delivered by the Automation team.

Requirements

A minimum of 10 years' experience in integrated control system solutions (PLC, SCADA, DCS, MES, Batch, etc.).

Qualifications:

  • Degree or equivalent in Electrical/Electronic Engineering, Control Systems, or relevant discipline.
  • Chartered Engineer with the Engineering Council (IET or equivalent professional body).
