Job Title: Hygiene Supervisor

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Hygiene Supervisor to join our team at Cranswick Gourmet Sausage Lazenby's in Hull. As a key member of our Day Team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of hygiene and food safety across our facility.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement effective hygiene protocols to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and customer codes.
  • Lead and manage a team of hygiene professionals to ensure they have the necessary skills and training to perform their roles effectively.
  • Conduct regular hygiene audits and investigations to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.
  • Collaborate with the maintenance team to ensure that all equipment is installed and maintained with appropriate hygiene SOPs.
  • Develop and manage budgets for hygiene-related activities and ensure that all expenditures are within agreed parameters.
  • Ensure that all sanitation activities are carried out in a safe and efficient manner, and that a safe working environment exists for employees.
Requirements:
  • L3 Food Hygiene certification
  • L3 HACCP certification
  • IOSH Managing Safely certification
  • COSHH certification
  • Allergen Awareness certification
  • Investigation of Microbiological Hygiene
  • Financial understanding
  • Auditing
  • Pest Control
  • CIP
  • Computer literate in Word, Excel, PowerPoint
  • Hygiene systems
  • Experience of hygiene operations, including management of a team, ideally within FMCG environment
  • Experience leading and working with a diverse workforce
  • Experience of driving cost reduction
Working Hours and Pay:

Monday to Friday, 7am to 4pm, £15.15 per hour.
