Primary HLTA Job Opportunity

We are currently working with a reputable Primary School in Barnet, rated 'Outstanding' by Ofsted, to find a skilled Primary HLTA who can provide support in challenging classroom situations, lead and coordinate Teaching Assistants, and cover lessons as needed.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement lesson plans to support student learning
  • Assess student progress and provide feedback to teachers
  • Provide staff support and guidance to ensure a positive and productive learning environment
  • Organize and lead extra-curricular activities to promote student engagement and development
  • Communicate effectively with parents and guardians to keep them informed of student progress
  • Teach whole classes during PPA (Planning, Preparation, and Assessment) time

About You:
  • Hold a minimum of a 2:1 degree from a top 20 UK university or Russell Group institution
  • Have a strong understanding of the Primary curriculum and SEN (Special Educational Needs)
  • Have experience working as an HLTA (Higher Level Teaching Assistant)
  • Be passionate, interested, and dedicated to supporting pupils
