About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated individual to join our Residential Children's Home team as a Team Leader. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing a nurturing and safe environment for our children and young people, ensuring their physical, emotional, and social needs are met.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage a team of staff to provide high-quality care and support to children and young people.
  • Develop and implement individual care plans to meet the unique needs of each child.
  • Collaborate with other professionals, such as social workers and therapists, to ensure comprehensive support for our children.
  • Manage and oversee the administration of medication, health and safety, and training for staff.
  • Contribute to the development of policies and procedures to ensure the highest standards of care.
Requirements
  • Significant experience in a residential care setting, preferably with children and young people.
  • Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare or equivalent qualification.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with children, staff, and external partners.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing time efficiently.
  • Knowledge of relevant legislation, policies, and procedures, such as the Children's Homes Regulations 2015.
