Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct machine setups in accordance with established company protocols.
  • Ensure compliance with component quality standards and the 'First Off' process.
  • Develop Fanuc CNC programs for twin spindle lathes equipped with driven tooling.
  • Collaborate with the production office on manufacturing techniques and tooling requirements.
  • Lead initiatives for lights-out machining and automation improvements in a cell setting.
  • Actively participate in continuous improvement efforts, embracing the 6S philosophy and lean manufacturing practices.
  • Assist in all corrective actions, observations, and reviews from the quality department.
  • Guarantee that parts are finished and deburred to meet company specifications.
  • Adhere to company policies as outlined by senior management.
  • Oversee machine maintenance needs and maintain daily logs.


Essential Qualifications:

  • Significant experience in CNC turning, including programming for twin spindle and live tooling.
  • Strong understanding of continuous improvement and lean manufacturing principles.
  • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a multi-departmental team.
  • Exceptional concentration, organizational skills, and time management abilities.
  • Prior experience with automation and lights-out machining processes.
  • Effective two-way communication skills.
  • Commitment to quality in work and workplace environment.
  • Meticulous attention to detail.
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in Fanuc programming.
