Job Title: Transformation Programme Director

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Transformation Programme Director to lead our strategic change programme. The successful candidate will have a strong background in programme and project management, with a proven track record of delivering complex transformation projects.

The Transformation Programme Director will be responsible for driving the programme forward, ensuring that it is delivered on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards. This will involve working closely with stakeholders across the organisation, including the Executive Team, to ensure that the programme is aligned with the company's overall strategy.

The ideal candidate will have excellent leadership and influencing skills, with the ability to inspire confidence and secure high performance from the team. They will also have a strong understanding of change management, with the ability to navigate complexity and sensitivities associated with managing change and reorganisation in a small organisation.

The Transformation Programme Director will be responsible for:

  • Ensuring the delivery of the transformation programme
  • Embedding necessary processes to achieve aligned working across departments
  • Ensuring that programmes and projects have clear KPIs that are monitored
  • Managing progression and documentation of requirements definition, work-streams, deadlines, decision-making, actions and risks, reporting to the CEO and the Executive Team

The successful candidate will have:

  • Qualified in programme and project management methodologies such as MSP, PRINCE2 or APM
  • Good understanding of change management
  • Strong cross-functional background, and specifically publishing/subscription business experience
  • Ability to navigate complexity and sensitivities associated with managing change and reorganisation in a small organisation
  • Experience of leading and delivering transformational change and the ability to convey a compelling and engaging vision of change
