Bank Paediatric Recovery Nurse | Spire Shawfair Park Hospital | Competitive remuneration

Spire Shawfair Park Hospital is seeking a dedicated and skilled Paediatric Recovery Nurse to become part of our welcoming operating theatre team on a bank basis. In this role, you will deliver outstanding care for patients ranging from infancy to 16 years old. Our consultants come from various regions across the UK, allowing you to collaborate closely with them and gain exposure to the latest innovative, evidence-based clinical practices.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assessing the health and well-being of patients across a diverse and dynamic caseload
  • Assisting in the provision of care tailored to meet the needs of patients in a high-paced environment
  • Preparing recovery areas and ensuring optimal care for patients post-surgery
  • Communicating complex, sensitive, or challenging information effectively
  • Advocating for best practices and contributing to quality enhancement initiatives

Ideal Candidate:

  • NMC / HCPC registered children's nurse - your registration should be free of any restrictions or conditions
  • At least 2 years of experience in recovery
  • PILS certification
