Salary: £35,000 - £45,000 Per Annum (depending on experience + Bonus + Bens)
Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Menswear Jersey Designer to join our team at Dobson Welch. As a key member of our design team, you will be responsible for creating innovative and stylish menswear designs for our clients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and develop high-quality menswear products, including jerseys, for our clients.
- Collaborate with our design team to create cohesive and on-trend designs.
- Attend buyer meetings to showcase our designs and provide trend forecasting.
- Develop and maintain relationships with overseas factories to ensure high-quality production.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest fashion trends and technologies.
- Provide mentorship and support to junior designers.
Requirements:
- Recent and solid experience working within UK high street supply or a high street retailer designing jersey products.
- Experience working across all levels of high street retailers.
- Solid knowledge of fabrics and trims.
- Experience attending buyer meetings, trend researching, and developing ranges to sell.
- Experience working with overseas factories.
- Solid experience with Illustrator and Photoshop.
- London-based (or very commutable, 45 min to an hour to East London).
- Eligible to work in the UK.
