Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Building Surveyor to join our team at AtkinsRéalis. As a Senior Building Surveyor, you will be responsible for delivering a full suite of building surveying duties, including project management, contract administration, and client relationship management.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and deliver building surveying projects from inception to completion, ensuring timely and within-budget delivery.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, stakeholders, and colleagues to ensure effective communication and collaboration.
  • Provide expert advice and guidance on building surveying matters, including condition surveys, measured surveys, and due diligence.
  • Lead and manage teams of building surveyors, providing mentorship and training to ensure the development of skills and knowledge.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry developments, best practices, and regulatory requirements, ensuring compliance and adherence to company policies.
  • Contribute to business development and growth, identifying opportunities and developing strategies to increase revenue and market share.

Requirements:

  • Chartered Building Surveyor (MCIOB or equivalent) with a strong track record of delivering building surveying projects.
  • Proven experience in project management, contract administration, and client relationship management.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients, stakeholders, and colleagues.
  • Strong technical knowledge of building surveying, including condition surveys, measured surveys, and due diligence.
  • Ability to lead and manage teams, providing mentorship and training to ensure the development of skills and knowledge.
  • Strong business development skills, with the ability to identify opportunities and develop strategies to increase revenue and market share.
