Nursing Support Specialist

Position: Nurse Associate
Work Schedule: 36 hours weekly
At Runwood Homes, we are dedicated to providing exceptional care as a leading operator in the care home sector, focusing on compassionate and personalized support for elderly individuals, including those living with dementia.
As a Nurse Associate, your core responsibilities will revolve around professionalism, empathy, and care. You will be tasked with delivering safe, respectful, and independent support to our residents by developing and executing tailored care plans. Establishing strong connections with residents and their families to ensure personalized care is a vital component of your position.
Collaborating closely with a Registered General Nurse, you will be instrumental in upholding high standards of care, which includes meticulous record-keeping and effective communication within your team. Furthermore, you will assist the Home Manager and Deputy Manager in providing both physical and mental care, administering medications, and conducting audits.
To be eligible for this role, you must have successfully completed a Nursing Associate Apprenticeship Program and possess an NVQ level 3 or an equivalent qualification. Experience in a leadership role within a care environment is advantageous. Essential attributes for this position include a positive demeanor, outstanding communication abilities, and proficient time management skills.
