About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Plumber to join our Maintenance Team at Liverpool Football Club. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our plumbing and drainage systems at Anfield Stadium.
Key Responsibilities
- Undertake routine maintenance, fault finding, and repair works to all plumbing and drainage systems, ensuring compliance with current regulations.
- Respond promptly to system and plant breakdowns, conducting fault diagnosis and rectification.
- Perform new installations and project works as required, collaborating with stakeholders to ensure seamless execution.
- Provide recommendations for life cycle replacements and system upgrades to inform budget forecasting.
- Manage the maintenance, testing, repair, and chemical dosage of player facilities, including spa and ice baths.
- Conduct regular flushing of water systems to prevent legionella growth, adhering to L8 guidelines.
- Prioritize workload using our CAFM system, ensuring all works are logged and considering out-of-hours functions and match days.
- Demonstrate ability to adapt workload to relevant fixtures and events, ensuring minimal disruption to the business.
- Oversee external contractors, ensuring their work is completed satisfactorily with minimal disruption.
- Undertake statutory and non-statutory PPMs on site, maintaining the highest standards of quality and safety.
Requirements
- NVQ Level 3 Plumbing and Heating qualification.
- Water Hygiene Legionella Prevention experience.
- Comprehensive knowledge of specialized plumbing, heating, pool management, fire sprinkler, and legionella prevention methods.
- Experience in undertaking PPMs and a full clean UK driver's license.
Preferred Qualifications/Experience
- IPAF Mobile Platform Operation License.
- PASMA Mobile Scaffold Erection License.
- Gold CSCS Trade Card.
- Water Regulations Qualification/Knowledge.
- Unvented Hot Water Qualification (Commercial).
- Gas qualification.
- Level 2 Spa Management qualification.
- Fire suppression sprinkler system knowledge.
