WR Logistics is seeking an experienced Freight Forwarding Specialist to join our team based in London Heathrow offices. As an Air Freight Export Coordinator, you will be responsible for arranging air export movements from start to finish, including customs clearances.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with potential and existing clients, understanding their needs and providing tailored solutions.
  2. Air Export Arrangements: Arrange air exports for key accounts and ad-hoc customers, ensuring timely and efficient delivery.
  3. Communication and Negotiation: Communicate all aspects of capabilities and service offerings available to clients, negotiating directly with air freight carriers to achieve best pricing.
  4. Customs Declarations: Complete customs declarations and ensure compliance with all relevant regulations.
  5. Business Development: Develop and maintain positive relationships with key clients, including negotiating and closing on major contracts.
  6. Client Acquisition: Maintain existing client base and simultaneously prospect for new clients and opportunities when possible.

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Experience in freight forwarding and air export operations
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
  • Knowledge of customs regulations and procedures
  • Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with clients
