Account Manager Opportunity

We are seeking a dedicated sales professional to join our team in Norwich, working with a well-established client in the office supplies sector.

The successful candidate will be responsible for developing relationships with new and existing customers, identifying sales opportunities, and increasing sales through outbound activity.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Establish and maintain a customer portfolio, identifying sales opportunities and developing relationships with new and existing customers.
  • Conduct calling campaigns to follow up on warm leads and identify new sales opportunities.
  • Improve communication with existing customers by discussing future sales opportunities and account management.
  • Review customer activity and offer linked products to grow sales.
  • Carry out calling campaigns from lists provided by the Marketing Department.
  • Ensure appropriate marketing material is sent to contacts to promote new enquiries.
  • Follow up delivery of marketing materials and promote offers to new and existing contacts.
  • Positively encourage lapsed customers to order again.
  • Identify project opportunities from known and new contacts.
  • Review local business activity to spot new opportunities.
  • Assist the sales team to help cover absence and annual leave as needed.
  • Provide weekly reports to the Sales Manager.

Requirements:

  • A confident communicator with the ability to work on their own initiative.
  • Positive and proactive with a strong work ethic.
  • 2 years sales development experience, preferably in a commercial environment.
  • Confident use of Microsoft Office Package.

What We Offer:

  • Basic salary of £24,000 with opportunity for commission up to £2000 - £4000 annually.
