We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Early Years Support Professional to join our Children & Families Service. As a key member of our team, you will work closely with Health Visitor teams in Perth and Kinross to support the health and wellbeing of children and families within the locality.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver early interventions strategies for pre-school children, promoting healthy development and learning through play activities.
- Collaborate with a diverse community, working closely with multi-agency partners and voluntary services to achieve shared goals.
- Provide support and guidance to families, empowering them to make informed decisions about their children's care and development.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of policies and procedures that promote the health and wellbeing of children and families.
- Participate in ongoing professional development, staying up-to-date with best practices and research in early years support.
- NNEB qualification, Diploma in Childcare and Education, or NVQ Child Care Level 3 qualification.
- Sound knowledge of child development and learning through play activities.
- Previous experience working with children, preferably in a similar role.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders.
- Ability to travel across the locality, with a valid driver's license (if applicable).
- A dynamic and supportive work environment, with opportunities for professional growth and development.
