Senior Civil Design Engineer Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Civil Design Engineer to join our team at Aldwych Consulting Ltd. As a Senior Civil Design Engineer, you will be responsible for leading the design of below-ground drainage networks, including SuDs elements for buildings, highways, and public realms.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead projects within various sectors, including residential, commercial, education, healthcare, and retail.
  • Develop and implement detailed designs for below-ground drainage networks.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure design solutions meet client requirements.
  • Manage and mentor junior engineers to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to excel in their roles.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience working as a Senior Civil Design Engineer in a civil design consultancy.
  • Experience managing and mentoring junior engineers.
  • Working towards Chartership with the ICE.
  • Proficiency in design software such as Microdrainage, Civil 3D, and BIM.
