Job Overview

Position: AppDynamics Administrator
Location: Sheffield, UK (Hybrid - 3 days per week from Sheffield office)
Contract Type: InsiderIR35
Duration: 6-12 months with potential for extension


Core Competencies Required:

  • Expertise in AppDynamics
  • Proficient in Application Performance Monitoring

Desirable Skills:

  • AppDynamics certification
  • Familiarity with ThousandEyes

Experience Required: 8-10 years


Key Responsibilities:

  • Configuration of alerts
  • Creation of dashboards

Detailed Responsibilities:

  • Demonstrated experience in AppDynamics APM and resolving intricate issues.
  • Capability to optimize, deploy, and configure AppDynamics for critical and complex applications.
  • Proactive engagement with cross-functional teams to provide insights and reporting for both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Ability to design and develop dashboards within AppDynamics to reflect the overall health of applications.
  • Experience in configuring alerts, including creation and troubleshooting of existing setups.
  • Proficient in Business Transaction tuning.
  • Skilled in configuring AppDynamics Agents.
  • Able to establish and manage synthetic monitoring.
  • Experience with machine agent configuration and extensions.

Additional Qualifications:

  • AppDynamics certification is advantageous.
  • Knowledge of ThousandEyes is beneficial.
