Recreation Facilitator

Part Time Position / Average of 25.5 hours over a bi-weekly schedule.

The position of Recreation Facilitator offers a fantastic opportunity to engage in a variety of leisure activities. This role is consistently customer-oriented, providing fulfilling experiences. The chance to meet diverse individuals, coupled with the variety of tasks and learning opportunities, ensures an exciting workday for our Recreation Facilitators.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure the safety and enjoyment of all patrons utilizing the Leisure Centre.
  • Assist in managing all aspects of the Centre's daily operations.
  • A National Pool Lifeguarding Qualification is preferred; however, successful candidates will receive comprehensive training in all facets of the role. This position requires a DBS check.
  • Establish rapport and respect with clients and team members.
  • Communicate effectively across the organization.
  • Be prepared to meet the demands of the role by working additional hours as necessary.
  • Demonstrate a clear understanding of customer needs.
  • Exhibit teamwork and collaboration.
  • Take initiative to enhance the role independently.
