Position Overview:

FDR is seeking a skilled Financial Operations Supervisor to oversee all financial aspects of our organization. This role will involve close collaboration with senior management, contributing to various operational areas, including human resources, and playing a vital role in our ongoing growth and success.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage payroll, pension, and statutory submissions for a workforce exceeding 60 employees.
  • Oversee purchase and sales ledgers, as well as credit control for a turnover exceeding £6 million.
  • Conduct bank reconciliations and manage currency transactions.
  • Prepare management accounts, year-end trial balances, and ad hoc financial reports.
  • Handle accounts for two additional smaller entities, including VAT and other necessary submissions.

This position requires a hands-on approach to daily accounting functions and bookkeeping, along with a small degree of supervisory responsibilities.

Qualifications:

The ideal candidate will possess AAT, ACCA, CIMA qualifications, or equivalent, with prior experience in a similar capacity within the industry, preferably in a manufacturing context. A strong technical accounting background and proficiency in Sage software are essential.
