Position Overview: We are currently seeking a skilled Bench Carpenter to contribute to our operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manufacturing Moulds: Create moulds according to customer specifications utilizing various materials and CAD drawings.
  • Refurbishing Moulds: Restore existing moulds using diverse techniques to prepare them for reuse.
  • Material Management: Oversee the ordering and management of materials necessary for the mould-making department, including conducting quality checks on incoming supplies.
  • Site Maintenance: Assist the site and facilities team with general carpentry and joinery maintenance tasks.

Qualifications & Experience:

Essential Skills:

  • Hands-on practical skills in woodworking.
  • Experience in team management and motivation.
  • Strong leadership abilities to develop and enhance team performance.
  • Proficient in structured problem-solving techniques.
  • Effective communication skills across various departments.
  • Ability to build and maintain relationships at all organizational levels.
  • Innovative mindset with a focus on solutions.
  • Highly organized and capable of managing multiple priorities under pressure.
  • Self-motivated with a keen attention to detail.
  • Basic IT skills, including familiarity with email and internet applications.
  • A passion for woodworking and joinery.
  • Experience operating woodworking machinery.
  • Knowledge of health and safety regulations.

  • Familiarity with woodworking tools.
  • Ability to interpret CAD drawings.
